"One of the most versatile and charismatic musicians in the world," (Musical America) Bramwell Tovey conducts the RCO and violinist Jennifer Murphy. Tovey is " the very model of a modern orchestral maestro ... Not only is he a supremely gifted conductor and music director, a much published composer, a pianist (classical and jazz) and a dreamer of big projects, he is also the bearer of a fantastic sense of humour." (Montecristo Magazine)
The Royal Conservatory Orchestra (RCO), widely regarded as an outstanding ensemble and one of the best training orchestras in North America, consists of instrumental students in the Performance Diploma Program and Artist Diploma Program of The Glenn Gould School. Graduates of the RCO have joined the ranks of the greatest orchestras in the world.
